Peacefully, at the Community Nursing Home, Alexandria, Ontario on Saturday, May 14, 2016 at the age of 82. Beloved wife of Anton Sandtner. Loving mother of Anton Jr. (Gisela Schmidt) and Frank (Sara). Proud grandmother of Jason (Stephanie), Evan, Corinna, Renattae, Konrad, Laura Gaye and Carter; and great grandmother of Abigaël. Dear sister of Viivi Kasak (Andres). Daughter of the late Johannes and Alma Traksmaa. Helve will be fondly remembered by all her nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. Family and friends are asked to gather at St. Matthew’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, 1509 Second St. West, Cornwall, ON K6J 1J5 on Monday, May 23, 2016 from 9-11 am. A Celebration of Helve’s Life will be held at 11 am. Memorial donations made to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
