Peacefully, at the Montfort Hospital on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at the age of 92.  Beloved wife of the late Serge Dreimanis.  Loving mother of Alice Dreimanis (Pierre LeBel), Mike Dreimanis (Barb Reid) and Anne Thévenot (Leonard).  Proud grandmother of Joseph LeBel (Claudia Baltazar), Naomi LeBel (Mathieu Bélisle), Caleb LeBel (Judith Dorais), Peter Dreimanis, Kira Dreimanis (Chris Agnew), Lauren Davies (Darryl Whitehead), Steven Davies, Odette Thévenot and Jerome Thévenot; and great grandmother of Clara, Jakob, Adèle, Romane, Lee, Sebastian, Eleanor and Avery.  Predeceased by her parents James Tarlton and Kathleen Peart; and by her brother James Tarlton (late Margaret and the late Beryl).  Betty will be fondly remembered by her nieces and nephews Jim, Matthew and Geoffrey Tarlton; and Indra, Peter and Aina Kagis.  A Celebration of Betty’s Life will be held in the Reception Centre of the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, ON (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with the eulogy commencing at 3:00 PM.  In lieu of flowers, memorial donations made to the Montfort Hospital Foundation – Palliative Care Unit, 713 Montreal Road, Ottawa, ON K1K 0T2 would be appreciated by the family.
