Peacefully, at Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria on Wednesday, December 17, 2014 at the age of 78. Beloved husband and best friend of Karen MacLeod (née McDonald) of Kirk Hill, ON. Loving son of the late John Kenneth “J.K.” MacLeod and the late Annie Mary McLeod (née MacLennan). Predeceased by his brother Lloyd. Dear cousin of A.D. MacLeod (Gail) of Kelowna, BC, Glen McCuaig (Nonie) of Pender Harbour, BC, Randy Cameron (late Donna) of Moose Creek, ON, Doug MacLeod (Mariette) of Langley, BC and Joan MacLeod (Bill) of Victoria, BC. Brother-in-law of Dianne Angus (John) of Lancaster, ON and Richard McDonald (Dodie) of Medicine Hat, AB. He will also be missed by his many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Family and friends are requested to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, December 19, 2014 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm and on Saturday from 11:30 am - 12:30 pm. A Funeral Service will be held at St. Columba Presbyterian Church, Kirk Hill on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at 1 pm. A reception will follow in the Dalkeith Hall. Spring Interment. In memory of Harold, donations to St. Columba Church, or Glengarry Memorial Hospital would be appreciated by the family.
