Peacefully, surrounded by family at Hospice Cornwall on Wednesday, June 24, 2015 at the age of 82. Beloved spouse of Frank Allen for over 40 years. Loving mother of Richard (Lucie). Proud grandmother of Justin and Joël and great-grandmother of Daphnée. Cherished sister of Gerald (Doreen) and Annette (Ken Meleskie). Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Florida (née Pagé) Thauvette; her brothers Archille (late Marie-Jeanne), Leo, Ovila (late Jeanne), Rolland “Joe” (Evelyne); and her sisters Ella and Eileen. She will be fondly remembered by best friend Gerald Lauzon and by her many nieces & nephews. Family and friends are requested to gather at the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Saturday, July 04, 2015 from 9 – 11 am. Pauline’s life will be celebrated in the Chapel of the Funeral Home on Saturday, July 04, 2015 at 11 am, followed by a reception. A private interment will be held at a later date.
