Obituary of Reginald Henry Clancy

Please share a memory of Reginald to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Peacefully in Ottawa, after a long and tiring illness on Monday, August 24, 2015 in his 64th year. Born in Halifax, NS on September 19, 1951, Reg lived in England, Montreal, QC, Alexandria, ON and finally settled in Glen Robertson, ON. He will be missed greatly by his best friend and loving wife Barbara (née Uhrin), who adored him. He will be sadly missed by his sister Patricia and her children Steve, Peter (France), Lisa and Danny; his brother Michael (Cathy) and his children Robert (Carol), Tracy (Keith), Wayne, Stuart (Brenda) and Kris (Bruce); his sister Susan and her children Mark and Patrick (Christine); and by his sole surviving aunt Camilla McPhee (née Greig). Predeceased by his brother Robert; and by his parents Reginald James and Jessie Catherine (née Grieg) Clancy. Lovingly missed by all of his great-nieces, great-nephews, many cousins, and his brother-in-law Danny. Reg enjoyed life and was never happier than when he was around his family or his many friends. Special thanks to Karen for all of the help and support she gave Barbara during Reg’s last days. We hope you can join us at a Celebration of Reg’s Life which will be held in the Reception Centre of the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, Ontario (613) 525-3400 on Saturday, September 12, 2015 from 1-4 pm.
