Obituary of Rachel Buss

Peacefully, at Lancaster LTC on Friday, May 23, 2025 at the age of 82.

Beloved wife of 57 years to William “Bill” Buss.

Loving mother of Geoffrey Buss (Dianna MacLennan), Craig Buss (Nina Palladini) and Jennifer Buss (Shawn Robinson).

Proud grandmother of Vanessa Buss, Robyn Laflamme, Isaac Roderick, Jayden Buss, Ethyn Lague, Jillian Buss, Joey Palladini, and Nick Palladini; and great-grandmother of Lillian Lavergne, Callie Sommerville, Reece Sommerville, Mia Bingley, Kingsley MacFarlane and Luca Cesar Mateyo Roderick Hall.  

Dear sister of Eileen Giroux (née Dore) and Joyce Gagnon (née Dore).

Predeceased by her parents Joseph and Berthe (née Davidson) Dore; her brothers Russell Dore and Romeo Dore; and sister Lynn Dore.

Rachel will be fondly remembered by her many nieces and nephews, former neighbours and friends.

A Celebration of Rachel’s Life will be held at the Green Valley Recreation Centre, 4159 MacKinnon Rd., Green Valley, ON K0C 1L0 on Saturday, June 21, 2025 from 1 – 3 PM.

Donations made to the Alzheimer Society of Canada would be appreciated by the family.
