Dear Rodney, Rachel and the Fraser, MacLennan families. Sending my heartfelt condolences to all of you on the recent loss of a loving Mom and Grandma, sister and sister-in-law. Leona, was a ray of sunshine with her smile and the trinkle in her eye. I remember our trips to Mary Kay meetings, she would have us in stitches with her humour when telling stories, she was always ready for a good laugh. Leona, moved to Ontario over 50 years ago but Cape Breton was always part of her heart. My hope is that as time goes on you are able to think about the amazing things that she had done in her life, and this will bring a smile to your face. Leona, will be missed a lot but those we love never leave us for their beautiful memories are imprinted on our hearts-FOREVER. You are in my thoughts and prayers. ❤️❤️

From the moment they met they were destined to be lifelong partners. Leona had such a bubbly personality and infectious laugh. She always brighter anywhere she was and lifted everyone spirits. I hear that Leona was a card and now God has her. I recall Dean often taking fondly about her Ontario visits. Maybe they had a big tractor, I am unsure. I seem to recall Ken and Kyle standing inside a tractor tire in Ontario when they were young. Anyway, my condolences to all. I am sorry that you lost her so young. She certainly made the most of life and family. A beautiful soul is gone. RIP Leona.
