C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. Marcel Binette, décédé le 23 mars 2026, à l'âge de 100 ans.

Il était l’époux bien-aimé de feu Jeannette (née Ouimet) Binette.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Donald Binette (Darlene), Ginette Binette et feu Lucien Binette, son petit-fils; Maxime Binette, ses sœurs et son frère; Marielle Carrière (feu Norman), Roland Binette et Carmelle Burchell (feu John), ainsi que plusieurs nièces, neveux, cousins, cousines, membres de famille et ami(e)s.

Prédécédé par ses parents Aldéric et Marie-Ange (née Bélair) Binette, et par ses sœurs et frères; Noël Binette, Fernand Binette (feu Raymonde), Ernest Binette (feu Jeannine), Solange Lanthier (feu Paul-Émile) et Gisèle Laforêt (feu Guy).

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler au Salon Funéraire Glengarry (580 Main St S, Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0), le samedi 11 avril 2026 de 9h à 11h. Un service funéraire sera célébré dans le salon funéraire à 11h, suivi d'une réception.

Cherished husband of the late Jeannette (née Ouimet) Binette.

Beloved father of Donald Binette (Darlene), Ginette Binette and the late Lucien Binette.

Loving grandfather of Maxime Binette.

Dear brother of Marielle Carrière (late Norman), Roland Binette, and Carmelle Burchell (late John).

Marcel will be dearly missed by his nephews, nieces, cousins and by his many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Aldéric and Marie-Ange (née Bélair) Binette, also by his siblings Noël Binette, Fernand Binette (late Raymonde), Ernest Binette (late Jeannine), Solange Lanthier (late Paul-Émile), and Gisèle Laforêt (late Guy).

Family and friends are invited to gather at Glengarry Funeral Home (580 Main St S, Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0), on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. A Funeral Service will be celebrated in the funeral home at 11:00 a.m., followed by a reception.

Donations to the Cornwall Community Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family.
