Obituary of André Séguin

C’est avec une grande tristesse que nous vous annonçons le décès de M. André Séguin, décédé le 24 avril 2026, à l'âge de 76 ans.

Conjoint bien-aimé de Micheline Vachon.

Il laisse dans le deuil sa fille; Dominik Séguin (Luc Lanthier), ses petits-fils; Aimérik et Lukaël, ses sœurs; Monique Séguin, Suzanne Décoste (Pierre Vaillancourt) et Denise Delorme, ses nièces et neveux, ses cousines et cousins, ainsi que plusieurs ami(e)s.

Prédécédé par ses parents Claude et Berthe (née Crevier) Séguin. Ainsi, par sa fille Renée.

La famille et les amis sont invités à se rassembler au Salon Funéraire Glengarry (580 Main St S, Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0), le jeudi 7 mai 2026 de 17h à 20h. Une cérémonie privée en hommage à la vie de André aura lieu au salon funéraire Glengarry à une date ultérieure.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Mr. André Séguin, who passed on April 24, 2026, at the age of 76.

Beloved spouse of Micheline Vachon.

Loving father of Dominik Séguin (Luc Lanthier).

Cherished grandfather of Aimérik and Lukaël.

Dear brother of Monique Séguin, Suzanne Décoste (Pierre Vaillancourt), and Denise Delorme.

André will be dearly missed by his nieces, nephews, cousins and by his many friends.

Predeceased by his parents Claude and Berthe (née Crevier) Séguin. Also, by his daughter Renée.

Family and friends are invited to gather at Glengarry Funeral Home (580 Main St S, Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0), on Thursday, May 7, 2026, from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. A Private Celebration of André’s Life will be held at Glengarry Funeral Home at a later date.

Donations to the Glengarry Memorial Hospital Foundation or to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family.
