Passed away suddenly at Glengarry Memorial Hospital with family by her side. Predeceased by her husband Arnold and her son Barry. Survived by her children Gloria (Bob), Ruth (Peter), Edith, Brian (Joan), Shirley, Betty (Allan), Vivian (Rob), Heather (late Charlie), and Rodney (Sarah); her daughter-in-law Ginette Huard; her 12 grandchildren Sean (Marlee), Chad (Ipsita), Melanie (Luc), Bobby (Stacia), Tracy (Gilles), Julie-Andrée, Jessica-Kim (Kareem), Caitlin, Madison, Evan, Brendon, and Josh; her 11 great grandchildren Kamryn, Dyson, Lola, Tobin, Brady, Brennah, Jayson, Jessy, Jamie, Hailey, and Aliyah; her many nieces and nephews; her sister Hazel in Upland, CA; and her sisters-in-law Dorothy Sauson, Sarah MacKenzie and Velma Munro. Also predeceased by her parents Jess and Edith Munro; and her siblings Lyall, Fred, Laura, and Raymond. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Saturday, April 1, 2017 from 3-6 pm. A memorial service and interment will be held at St. Andrews United Church, Hope Town, QC in the summer. Memorial Donations made to the St. Andrews United Church Cemetery Fund, Hope Town, QC, G0C 3C0 would be appreciated by the family.
