WWII Veteran
Peacefully and surrounded by prayers, friends and loving family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at the age of 93 years. Beloved husband of the late Patricia Nagy (nee Hart). Loving father of Karen Nagy-Boulay (Michael) of Alexandria and Earl Nagy (Karon) of London, England. Loving grandfather of Noah, Jacob and Olivia Boulay all of Alexandria, Alex and Amanda Nagy of London, England. Son of the late Stefan and Mary (nee Fesychuck) Nagy. Predeceased by his brothers James (Katie of Brossard, QC) and Stefan. Family and friends are asked to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, April 24, 2016. Visitation with family from 1:00-3:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to be celebrated at 3:00 PM followed by a reception. A private family interment will be held at the Field of Honour Cemetery at a later date. The family gives special thanks to Dr. Lucie Lajoie and the nursing staff from HGMH for their compassionate care. In memory of Vincent and in lieu of flowers, donations made to the Alexandria Air Cadets Squadron 379 - Vimy Ridge Fund would be appreciated by the family.
