Passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her family on Tuesday January 28, 2014. Gertrude Yvette Ranger (nee Lefebvre) of Alexandria; age 81 years. Beloved wife to the late Rolland Ranger. Loving mother to Yvon Ranger (Pat), Lise Ranger and Luc Ranger (Natalie) all of Alexandria. Cherished grandmother of Roch Gareau (Sara) of Kingston, Nicholas and Samantha of Alexandria. Dear sister of Laurette Vaillancourt of Alexandria, Therese Filion of Cornwall, Albert Lefebvre of Martintown and Hector Lefebvre of Montreal. Predeceased by Laurent Lefebvre of Williamstown, Leopold Lefebvre of Cornwall, Irene Jeaurond of Alexandria and Marie Rose Levac of The Brown House. Her loving pet Zeus will miss her. Relatives and friends may call at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 12 - 2 pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Eglise Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria at 2 pm. Memorial donations to Carefor Hospice Cornwall would be appreciated by the family.
