Peacefully, at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital, Alexandria, Ontario on Monday, July 18, 2016 at the age of 72. Beloved wife and best friend of Henri Besner. Loving mother of Christian Besner (Renée Besner-Bonin) and Martin Besner (Nicole). Proud grandmother of Rébeka Besner (Jacob Renaud) and Véronique Besner. Dear sister of Edwina Couture, Gerline Denis, the late Raymond Denis (Claudette Kingsbury), Artel Denis (Leonora), Normand Denis, Urbain Denis (Lucette), the late Russel Denis, Roxanne Fournier (late Gaston), Roch Denis (Sylvie), Virgina McMillan, Jocelyn Denis and Jasmin Denis. She will be fondly remembered by her many nieces, nephews, neighbours and friends. In memory of Bernice, memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, would be appreciated by the family.
