Peacefully, surrounded by family at Cornwall Hospice on Sunday, January 22, 2017 at the age of 51. Loving mother of Thérèse Levac, Sylvie Zbinden (Roman), and Sarah Pidgeon (Eric). Proud grandmother of Franziska and Alexandra Zbinden, and Jacob Levac. Dear sister of Jeanne Piette (Paul), Emile Levac (Faye), Claudette Levac, Micheline Belair (Larry), Bernadette Campeau (Rhéal), Nicole Vincent (John), Susanne Lobb Leroux (Andre), Denis Levac, Gerald Levac, Françoise Levac, Michelle Major (Marien), and Gabrielle Levac (Gerald). Predeceased by her parents Laurent and Rita (née Michaud) Levac; brothers Rolland and infant Joseph; and sister Thérèse. Lorraine will be lovingly remembered by her partner Paul Deschamps, her extended family, and by all who knew her. Family and friends are asked to gather at Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Thursday, January 26, 2017 from 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9-11 am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday, January 27, 2017 at 11 am. A private family interment will be held at a later date.
