I have just recently heard the news of Janice's passing. I was acquainted with Janice through the Eastern Ontario Artist community. I truly appreciated her positive, upbeat way of seeing things. I will miss her. My condolences to all who loved her.

I first knew of Janice when my Mother, Dora Lee, Janice's aunt, would call me to the radio to listen to Janice on "Little Players of the Air".
We cousins would all play together at family gatherings, usually at our Aunt Beryl or Aunt Eileen's homes.
Janice visited us when we lived in Nova Scotia. Once, she was driving by herself to Sacrifice Island, and astonished me with her story of talking to all the truck drivers on route using her CB radio!
Janice was always larger than life, with a hearty laugh, sometimes outrageous comments, and a ready smile.
I will always remember her kindness and generosity. I particularly remember the last fish fry 5 years ago when she and Wilf made me feel so welcome.
She left us too soon, and we will all miss her.

Our sincere condolences to the family of Janice Montreuil. So sad and shocked to hear of her sudden passing.
I am Danny Dillman's wife , his parents were Jack and Shirley Dillman they lived in Oldham , Nova Scotia.
Janice came across my facebook page accidentally and kept in touch with me to keep on top of her cousin Danny's illness ( Alzheimer's)
She was so compassionate about Danny's illness and we our family , appreciated that so much.
It was a real pleasure talking to Janice over facebook messenger and keeping her in the loop.
She will never be forgotten by us.
Danny , Elisabeth, Katharina and David Dillman.

Wilfrid, Kenny, Wendy and Family. We are so sorry to hear that Janice passed away. I was thinking of her last week when I sorted through family photos and had an envelope we were planning to drop off for Janice.
She was so proud of her family--you were the light of her life. We will all miss her great laugh. We hope all of your happy memories and the good times you shared will help you during this difficult time. Unfortunately, we will be in Florida and won't be able to attend the funeral. We will be thinking of you all next Saturday. Love Linda and Peewee

I worked with Janice for many years when she became our membership manager with DAIC. I loved her dedication & her spunk. She was much loved by fellow artists. I have warm memories of sharing her family fish fries. She was an exceptional woman. RIP Janice

My sincere condolences. It was such a pleasure to work with Janice through DAIC. We never had to worry what our reports on Product reviews looked like as we always knew that Janice would take and work her magic to make them look so good. It was also wonderful to actually meet her in person at the Moncton convention. I loved her spunk and her art. I will always treasure my "Figgy Pudding " and "PEI Lady Slipper" Art Cards which she created for me.

I was in total shock when I heard, I have known Janice since joining DAIC about 10 yrs ago. I had hoped to meet her in person, but hadn't had that pleasure. She has been coaching me (via FB Chat) over the last year or so for taking over the DAIC Trading Card Exchange... ohhh Janice how I will miss your spite, your fire, your huge enthusiasm for the arts & your fellow artists!!!! Let's not forget your sense of humour, you always knew how to raise someone's spirits & give a good chuckle, even across the Web!! Love your beautiful soul!!! Sending thoughts & prayers & sincere condolences to your family & friends! HUGS
