I am deeply saddened by the passing of your father.
My most sincere condolences to both Anthony and Anne and your family.
Your Dad was my hero and a blessing in my life. His kindness, constant encouragement and his many stories were the happiest parts of my childhood. Time spent with him to chat, to hear stories of his youth, time in the navy, how it was to teach in the north were cherished gifts that I’ll miss.
I can still hear his famous laugh and his quick wit.
His passing leaves a void as he added much sparkle to life.
A true light to those who loved him.
I’ll never forget him.
