Aunt Dolly was an exceptional woman who touched the hearts of many. She loved to share stories of her childhood with everyone she talked to. She also loved to have fun, laugh and tell good jokes!
I enjoyed my weekend escapes to Montreal by train from Alexandria and staying with Aunt Dolly and Uncle Ramsay. Sleeping in their summer veranda was the highlight!
She lived a long and happy life! Family was always important to her and she made sure she kept in touch with all the news.
May you rest in peace, tante Dolo.

CHER FAMILLE LEFEBVRE
I would never think of calling her by her name Dolores or Mrs. Archer, she was always and will always be remembered to me as Aunt Dolly or Ma Tante Dolly, and I'm not immediate family or even related.
My connection to Dolly is through my decease wife Sandra Wharry, sister of deceased brother in law David Wharry who was married to a wonderful lady in Evelyn Lefebvre.
My other connection with Dolly is through Jacques Lefebvre a great guy who went above and beyond the call of duty for Ma Tante Dolly.
Dolly was a wonderful person, always treated people with respect. I have not seen her in several years, but she will be missed by us all.
MY SINCEREST AND DEEPEST CONDOLENCES TO THE ENTIRE LEFEBVRE FAMILY AND EXTENDED FAMILY.
REST IN PEACE AUNT DOLLY. JOE ST DENIS, CORNWALL, ON.

Aunt Dolly was a kind, gracious and intelligent person. I can only remember her as a loved and respected person where ever she went. The last several years were not easy for Dolly but aside from the discomfort that she had in the final years, I'm glad she was able to live so long.
Jacques was very involved with Dolly in the last several years. Thanks to his great effort and that of Evelyn, Dolly was able to enjoy more of her life.
Dolly loved to talk about the Dalkeith area as was mentioned earlier. She had great pride in her heritage as every person should. Dolly, at the same time, had great respect for other people from every background.
All of our family will think very fondly of Dolly with Ramsey as time continues to move on.

It was such a pleasure to have been her friend. In common we both had a great love for this part of Glengarry County. Our Mothers knew each other. and so we had lots much to chat about. she regaled me with "dalkeith" stories. I never got tired of listening to her..I added a few of my own that were new to her. Her nickname was "Dolly" and she lived up to it. She was a sharp cookie-so energetic about life..and so very very kind. -so happy to see the smile in her final picture. She made the world a better place. She was so very encouraging in our efforts at DHS to keep Dalkeith"on the map" and so far so good. I will be there Friday to pay my respects

Aunt Dolly, Known and loved by so many friends and family.
She lived a full rich life and gave so much to others.
A favourite memory of mine was walking with Aunt Dolly , my Mom Evelyn and myself when Riley was just a wee baby in a stroller at our home in London and Aunt Dolly loving him up . She loved children and nicknamed him "Applesauce " after a Thanksgiving dinner when he strongly requested only applesauce for dinner!
On many occasion she hosted me and others to her home in Montreal and I loved every minute of it !
So many laughs . She was a lot like Papere in their way of laughter !
Dolores was truly a beautiful woman inside and out and I will miss her dearly .
Love Pauline Ann Orchard
