Suddenly, while vacationing in Barcelona, Spain on Friday, November 22, 2019 at the age of 65.  Beloved wife and best friend of John Fisher.  Loving mother of Eric.  Proud grandmother of Thomas and Michael.  Cherished daughter of the late Norman and Patricia (née Laurie) Hunt.  Dear sister of Norman (Patty), Arlene (Robin Larkin), Gail (Jonathan Parkin) and Brenda (Mark McLean); and sister-in-law of Carol Fisher.  God-daughter of Carlo & Millie Stamegna.  Sharon will also be fondly remembered by Margaret Mcilvenney; her former colleagues at Pratt & Whitney, Cornwall Tax Office and Laggan Public School; her fellow members of Women Entrepreneurs, Glengarry Encore Education Centre, Carefor – Meals on Wheels. Sharon was an incredible woman who had a zest for life and a passion for travel.  She will be dearly missed.  A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held in the Reception Centre of the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, ON (613) 525-3400 on Sunday, December 15, 2019 from 1:00 to 4:00 PM with Eulogies / Tributes commencing at 3:00 PM.  Memorial donation to Carefor – Meals on Wheels, 48 Elgin St. E., Alexandria, ON K0C 1A0 would be appreciated by the family.  Condolences/Donations/Tributes may be made online at www.glengarryfuneralhome.com
