QUESNEL, Lawrence ‘Larry’
Peacefully passed away at St-Jacques Nursing Home in Embrun on Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at the age of 77. Loving father of Evelyn Quesnel (Stacy Martin), Jacqueline Quesnel (Derrick Rees), and Tara-Lynn Stevenson (Michael Paul). Proud grandfather of Kassandra Stevenson, Evan Martin, and step-grandfather to Connor and Aidan Paul. He is survived by his siblings: Leila Thauvette (late Leo), Lydia Paquette (late Maurice), Hilda Bouvier (late Gerry), Lorraine Cadieux (late Bob) and Leonard (Bonnie). Predeceased by his parents: Mary Louise (née Lalonde) and Lawrence Quesnel; and by his siblings: Rita Periard (late Emile), Wallace, Lena Piette (late Albert), Leota DeRepentigny (late Rolland), Harvey (Marlene) Rosaire (Rita) and Hubert (Jean). Larry will be dearly missed by his many nieces and nephews; and fondly remembered by his current and former customers, and staff through his company JET Waste Management, formerly Ontario Compactors. After almost 50 years, Larry’s legacy still continues today. A Celebration of Larry’s Life will be held in the Reception Centre of the Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, ON (613) 525-3400 on Tuesday, January 7, 2020 from 12:00 to 3:30 PM with Eulogies / Tributes commencing at 2:00 PM. Memorial donation to the ALS Society or Alzheimer Society of Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
