Obituary of Margaret Ellen Gelinas

Margaret Ellen Gelinas 1945 - 2021 Of Cornwall, 76, passed peacefully on September 5, 2021, at Heartwood Long Term Care - Cornwall. She is survived by her brother Brady Gelinas (Maureen). Predeceased by her parents Francis and Sara (née Jamison) Gelinas. Also predeceased by her sister Marilyn Page (and the late Reginald). Margaret will be missed by several nieces and nephews, and many special friends. Her presence will be forever missed by her extended family at Heartwood LTC. Margaret was a friend to all who knew her. “Good morning, everyone…”. RIP our dear friend. The family would like to give a special thank you to Heartwood LTC for the wonderful care they gave Margaret over the past 18 years. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at Knox St. Paul’s United Church on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, from 10:30 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. Please be advised that Covid-19 precautions are still in effect; we respectfully request that attendees wear a mask and that physical distancing measures be observed both inside and outside of the church. A Memorial Service will be held at Knox St. Paul’s United Church on Wednesday, October 6, 2021, at 11:30 am followed by an interment in Alexandria United Church Cemetery.
