Obituary of Gilbert R. Choquette

Peacefully at the Ottawa Civic Hospital on Friday, November 26, 2021 at the age of 74. Son of the late Edéas Choquette and the late Lucienne Beauchamp. Dear brother of Marie-Clair Hill (Lawrence), Cécile Ménard (late René), Lucille Choquette and Lise Legroulx (Ron). Predeceased by his brothers Maurice Choquette (Diane) and Roger Choquette (June) and by his sister Yvette McDonald (late Shawn). Gilbert will be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews. He will also be missed by his former colleagues and friends at Seaway Express. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Paroisse Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at 2:00 pm. Family and friends are invited to pay their respects at the church starting at 1:00 pm. A private burial to occur at a later date. Please be advised that Covid-19 precautions are still in effect; we respectfully request that attendees wear a mask and that physical distancing measures be observed both inside and outside of the church.
