Obituary of Shirley Carmen Godard

GODARD, Shirley Carmen (née Seguin) Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family at St. Joseph’s Villa, Cornwall on Sunday, August 2, 2015 at the age of 75. Beloved wife of 37 years to the late Jean E. Godard (1996). Loving mother of Richard Godard, Alain Godard (Dominique) and the late Jean Godard (2010). Proud grandmother of Michael McMillan, Jordan Godard, Crystal-Anne Godard (Nathan Geneau), Brandon Godard, Melanie Allen, Angele Godard, Ashley Godard, Pier-Luc Godard, Jesse Mitchell, Ryan Mitchell, Ti-Jean Mitchell, Nicholas Mitchell and Kaitlyn Guay; and great grandmother to Tristan, Danica, Sean-Tradon and Hollyanna. Dear sister of Claude Seguin (Lucille), Maurice Seguin (Suzanne), Claire Roy (Clermont), Rolland Seguin (Anne), Lynn Legault (late Norman), Richard Seguin, Bruce Seguin (Joanne) and Lise Chenier (Pierre). Cherished daughter of the late Lionel and Eva (née Lalonde) Seguin and her step mother Claire Hill (Lawrence). Special thanks to Jennifer Ellis for all of the personal attention she gave to mom. Relatives and friends are requested to gather at the Salon Funéraire Glengarry Funeral Home, 580 Main St. S., Alexandria, (613) 525-3400 on Thursday, August 6, 2015 from 2-4 & 7-9 pm and on Friday from 9-11 am. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of the Glengarry Funeral Home on Friday, August 7, 2015 at 11 am. A reception will follow. Interment, Cimetière Sacré-Coeur, Alexandria.
