Obituary of Beatrice Derouchie

Peacefully on Monday, May 1, 2023 at The Palace - LTC in Alexandria.

Beatrice Rose Derouchie (nee Mullen); formerly of Glen Nevis, at the age of 88 years.

She is survived by her sisters Bertha Deschamps (Real) and Elaine Mullen (Germain Glaude); her brother Jimmy Mullen (Clarice); daughters Maureen Derouchie (Rene Labrossiere), Caroline Derouchie (Richard Pigeon), “Linda” Heather Starnes (Rick), Shirley Ann St Denis (Marcel); sons “Irwin” Ron Starnes (Diane), and “Tommy” Philippe Pannequin (Donna);  Grandchildren Jeff Derouchie, Benoit & Julie Labossiere, Melanie, Marjolaine  & Claudine Pigeon, Annick & Nicolas Pannequin, Steven Lalonde, Mark Castonguay and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents John James Mullen and Isabel Rose Dorval; her brothers Robert Mullen (Mariette) and John Alfred Mullen (Charlotte); her husband Lionel Derouchie; and her sons Wayne Derouchie and Norman Derouchie.

A private interment will be held at a later date in St. Margaret of Scotland Cemetery, Glen Nevis, ON.

Memorial donations to The Alzheimer Society or The Palace LTC – Resident Council Fund would be appreciated by the family.
