Dear Family of Rick Corbett please accept my sincere condolences . I first met Rick during an position interview at Victoria and he impressed me with his interest in working with equipment installed on the Canadian Frigates. Rick accepted the service position with Deutz Canada in Montreal. Our ways parted in 2008 but I always will remember him for is smile and his hart work. You always will be in my thoughts ! Mark Keneford I knew Rick in the Navy and I worked with him for several years in Montreal. Rick was a loyal guy to the organizations he worked in and took real pride in his service. He worked hard all the time and really tried to make sure the job was done right. In Montreal I used to go out to the shop floor to talk to folks and chatting with Rick was a real pleasure. He was a people person. I could tell that he loved his family, had really fond memories of past Navy colleagues, and enjoyed working with folks in our company. Mark

The first time I met Cindy and Rick was on a country road where we lived, I was walking my Golden Cooper. Of course Cindy stopped, probably more to meet my dog than me :). Cindy and Rick and 3 barking dogs in the truck.....and that was that......I had just met my best friends and neighbors. We shared many a laugh over the years, especially the wall insulation incident....that was epic!! Rick will be missed, we never bonded over bikes or the Navy but over Geraniums. I think Cindy would roll her eyes every time I started to ask his advice on mine, it was too funny :). I will miss you my friend but know that we will eventually meet again, I will keep the beer cold for you till then. Love Patti

So sorry for your loss! Rick was a friend of mine, we met in the early nineties in the Navy (West Coast) and bonded over bikes. A few years later he met my ex Cindy and became a loving reliable partner to her and a great role model to my son Mitchel! We enjoyed riding together and having fun! One ride in particular comes to mind a bike rally in Salmon Arm mostly Harleys but they let me tag along on my Honda. Rick was a great guy and always willing to help you. He will be missed greatly!
